OUR STORY
Here at MCAT Max, we believe that anyone can master the MCAT. The MCAT is a test that tests how well you know AAMC Content and are able to use their style of thinking. However, to learn that content and more importantly how to attack the passages to think like AAMC often requires hundreds or thousands of dollars in MCAT prep or paid practice questions. This poses a financial barrier to several students, often underrepresented groups, from achieving a great MCAT score that would allow them to be a doctor.

My name is Siddharth Venigalla.
I am the Founder/Executive Director here at MCAT Max. I founded MCAT Max with the long-term goal of creating a completely free resource that would enable someone to master the MCAT. I myself scored a 522 (99th percentile) on the MCAT but noticed throughout my prep that so much of success on the exam boils down to learning how the passages work and how to apply the content bank AAMC wants you to know. This is a process that required hundreds of paid practice questions for me, and I know for some it can cost even thousands of dollars for tutoring or courses. I realized that students who cannot afford this are at a major disadvantage. This inspired me to create a free resource that could break down these barriers via virtual tutoring and walkthroughs that enable me to pass on my knowledge to anyone regardless of their location.

I am co-founder here at MCAT Max where I also serve as Director of Test Preparation. Having scored a 526 (100th percentile) on the MCAT, I was able to develop vital test-taking skills and knowledge of the exam during my studying process. I strongly believe in our mission of spreading this knowledge to everybody regardless of their background. I love teaching and am always inspired and motivated by the people I serve. My goal is to help students master concepts that previously seemed impossible.
